CAMP MANAGER

Pilgrim Cove Camp is seeking a camp manager. Pilgrim Cove Camp is associated with the United Church of Christ and is located on beautiful Payette Lake at McCall, Idaho. This is a year round, full time position beginning in October, 2010. The responsibilities of the camp manager will include public and community relations, supervision of personnel, business management, property maintenance, marketing and development. Seeking Full Time Year Round Position

I am seeking a full time, year round position in building / grounds / facilities management at a Christian
Camp/Retreat/Conference Center.

I am married to a Registered Nurse, am a healthy mature male with a clean criminal record and hold a
current ACA membership. I do have camp facilities management experience.

I have a calling, profound regard and keen interest in the future of our nation, which I feel can be best
garnered through the personal growth of our youth. That accompanied with my skills and pride of
working with my hands and heart, combined with my joy of working outdoors lead me back to camping.

Director of Outdoor Ministries

The Illinois South Conference of the United Church of Christ is seeking a Director of Outdoor Ministries. It is a visionary and leadership position as part of the Illinois South Conference staff team with responsibilities for developing and promoting outdoor ministries throughout the Conference area.

The current facility, DuBois Center, is located in a lovely, wooded, joyously tranquil setting in southern Illinois. Our year-round programming includes a major equine program, Christian and secular summer camps for children, individual family camping, year-round Nature’s Classroom workshops, a variety of retreats promoting Christian education and spiritual formation, corporate meetings and events, a craft and music festival, work camps and individual Sabbath and renewal. Our 315-acre facility includes a
conference center; sleeping cabins; two lakes for fishing, canoeing and swimming; miles of trails for hiking and riding; a stage for performances; a worship area; and labyrinth.

The successful candidate will be a person of faith with experience in and a passion for the day-to-day management of an American Camp Association-certified camp and conference center while visioning for the future.
